The competitive break is over, and Brawlhalla esports players take their fighters to the first big official tournament.
Some changes happened within Brawlhalla since World Championship BCX 2024. The biggest one is the addition of a new weapon: Priya brought Chakram to the platform fights. The meta adjustments should prove themselves during actual esports matches.
The yearly schedule of Brawlhalla Esports Year Ten has been refreshed as well. Seasonal Championships are back, and the Winter one starts the excitement. Not only is it a great show to witness, but it also rewards the viewers with free Brawlhalla items.

Europe
The previous competitive season demonstrated a rise of young blood on the European Brawlhalla scene. bamya won the Trial of Freya, while Godly wasn’t even in the top 8. Could this trend continue in 2025?
Godly did not participate in this event, and bamya faced other strong opponents. Only once in the top 8 brackets, bamya changed his main Brawlhalla Legend, Mordex — in the semi-final against xJcoolJ.
In general, we could see a nice range of characters. Maybe this can inspire you practice them in your matches as well?

South America
This is the realm of the best Brawlhalla players in the world — at least in 2024. yüz claimed his second World Champion title at the BCX 2024 event. Kyna won the Spring Royale. The international success is supported by the tough regional competition, which makes Brawlhalla Winter Championship 2025 in South America especially interesting.
No one could oppose yüz in this Brawlhalla esports tournament. He defeated Thaiph, sea, and lores while playing his traditional main, Jaeyun.
It is pretty unexpected to see Kyna losing in the very starting match of the top 8 brackets. Perhaps, playing Ulgrim in two first games against lores wasn't such a good idea. Kyna switched to his usual main, Teros, but it was too late. lores defeated a few strong opponents in the lower brackets, but he couldn't overcome the might of yüz.

North America
The Brawlhalla community in North America has great esports legends, such as Sandstorm, and talented young players, like Marckiemoo, the winner of Autumn Royale 2024. The competition in this region is always spectacular. North American players should help each other get stronger to finally return to the top at international events.
North America is the second region where a Mordex player reached the top. The character did not work for Marckiemoo only in the Imugi matchup, so he had to switch to Mirage and perform a reverse sweep.
Sandstorm experimented with Loki this time. It could bring him victory in the top 8 brackets.
BalloonBoy made it through the elimination side, including a super close side vs flower. However, he couldn't win even a game in the grand final.

The main platformer fighter
Some folks in the Brawlhalla community were concerned about new platform fighters emerging. However, MultiVersus couldn’t reach its beta-period peak, and the developers shut it down. This was rather sad, as Season 5 had finally become fun to play. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 met the same fate of its predecessor. The matchmaking wasn’t exactly crowded, to say the least. Riot’s Pool Party game was also canceled.
Brawlhalla remains the main platformer fighter in terms of esports. We can’t argue with the power of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a casual-fun game. However, its competitive dimension is rather silent after the last update.
Brawlhalla Winter Championship has 2v2 tournaments from Feb. 28 to March 2. The next big event for this game is the open offline Winter Royale happening from April 25 to April 28.
