Everything is great about the Arc World Tour (AWT) 2024 Global Finals! Just take a look at the list of activities. Three tournaments conclude a year-long official circuit for Guilty Gear Strive (GGST), Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising (GBVS Rising), and UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes (UNI2). The fighting games community (FGC) has a chance to compete in a few side tournaments that highlight older games by Arc System Works.
The newest game, Hunter x Hunter Nen Impact, is playable at the AWT 2024 Global Finals. The first episode of the anime series Guilty Gear Strive Dual Rulers is shown exclusively at the event. The deep tradition of cosplay reaches another peak with anime-inspired costumes.

Guilty Gear Strive Dual Rulers: Episode 1 at AWT 2024
The story mode in GGST is anime on its own: you do not participate in battles, which is pretty unique for fighting games. However, Arc System Works decided to treat a wider community to the story of their game as a stand-alone series.
It is called Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers, The first episode will be shown exclusively at the AWT 2024 Finals. The full release is in April 2025 via Crunchyroll.

Even the current list of the GGST characters is pretty vast, and it’s getting bigger. Thanks to the phenomenal success of this title, the developers have the opportunity to support the game and unleash new Seasons.
At the moment, we are in the middle of Season 4. Queen Dizzy joined the game in October 2024. The next DLC character is Venom GGST, and the gameplay trailer should be revealed at the AWT 2024 Global Finals.
Galleon in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising
After a reboot, the fighting game inspired by the Granblue Fantasy universe reached its Season 2. Sandalphon was released in late February. Galeon GBVS Rising is coming next, and the release window is Spring 2025. We may get some info about this new DLC character at the AWT 2025 Global Finals.
Izumi in Under Night In-Birth II [Sys:Celes]
As for UNI2, the DLC characters join the game with big gaps. The previous one is Ogre, and it was released on Feb. 20. The next one is Izumi, with the release window being August 2025. It is more likely we will get details about UNI2 Izumi at Evo 2025.
Arc World Tour 2025: Schedule and games
Right after the end of one competitive circuit, the community starts looking forward to the next esports season. The basic details of the AWT 2025 should be announced at these Global Finals.
It is pretty safe to assume that the AWT 2025 schedule begins at Evo Japan 2025. It’s an event where two other big official leagues kick off: Capcom Pro Tour 2025 for Street Fighter 6 and TEKKEN World Tour (TWT) 2025 for TEKKEN 8.
As for the games at the AWT 2025 event, GGST is in the lineup for sure. GBVS Rising and UNI2 can make it to the circuit again, but Arc System Works is just a co-developer for these titles, so we should wait for the official confirmation.
Even before the AWT 2025, we can witness some awesome GGST, GBVS Rising, and UNI2 tournaments. The games are featured at the big multi-title event Texas Showdown 2025 from March 28 to March 30.
