GRID has been named the exclusive data partner for ESL FACEIT Group’s Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 tournaments, replacing Bayes Esports. Starting with IEM Cologne 2025, GRID will deliver real-time stats, audio-video feeds, and visualizations to media, betting firms, and fans.
GRID is the new exclusive data partner for EFG's Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 events, including Intel® Extreme Masters (IEM), ESL Pro League, and ESL One. The new multi-year deal will officially begin on Aug. 3 at IEM Cologne.

GRID to offer real-time data and insights
As part of the new partnership announced on July 30, GRID will collect data from live CS2 and Dota 2 events and offer real-time analysis and insights to media, betting companies, and esports fans.
Alongside live data, GRID will also provide "audio-video feeds (A/V) and data-powered visualizations". Though not officially confirmed, possible live features could include net worth charts, heat maps, kill feeds or a live mini-map.

GRID back-to-back partnerships with EFG
GRID is replacing Bayes Esports, which handled data for EFG's Counter-Strike and Dota 2 properties from 2023 to 2025. GRID and EFG's new partnership comes just a week after GRID was unveiled as the official data partner for the remainder of the Esports World Cup 2025.

“EFG has defined esports in CS2 and Dota 2 over the last two decades, and we are proud to enter into this ecosystem as an exclusive data partner,” said Moritz Maurer, CEO and Founder of GRID.
“GRID and EFG share a commitment to excellence and a dedication to innovation, which has allowed us to lead in our respective fields. Ultimately, EFG and GRID, alongside the existing portfolio of leading rights holders on the GRID Data Platform, aim to establish a standard for data in esports and gaming.”
A key highlight from the press release is GRID’s role as an "integrity partner".
“GRID’s technology, track record, and experience pioneering this category made them a clear choice as our data partner,” said Georg Brandes, Senior Director Media Rights & Distribution at ESL FACEIT Group.
“Their integrity-driven approach has deeply resonated with us, and this partnership marks an important step forward for EFG. We're looking forward to seeing how GRID's technology will improve the experience for our fans, players, and partners, while unlocking new ways to engage with our products and creating innovative revenue opportunities that support a more sustainable future for esports."
Data feeds now live
IEM Cologne 2025 will be the first event, otherwise known as "the Cathedral of Counter-Strike". Existing GRID customers are already able to access live data feeds from the event.
