As the former director of esports analytics at 100 Thieves, Magic is now the senior business data consultant at GRID. Magic is known as an esports statistician in addition to being an analyst on Riot Games' League Championship Series (LCS) broadcasts. He is also the founder of the Oracle's Elixir website, which features League of Legends esports statistics.

At GRID, Magic will help professional esports teams make the most out of the Rainbow Six Siege GRID Data Portals. This will be in addition to using his esports background to assist with League of Legends and VALORANT match data.

Julian Schwartz enters GRID as partnerships veteran

Meanwhile, Schwartz previously held the strategic partnership manager for games publishers position at YouTube Gaming. He played a role in the League of Legends Worlds 2023 YouTube Gaming Takeover event. Even prior to that, Schwartz worked at PUBG Corporation and led the charge on partnerships such as HyperX’s official sponsorship of the PUBG Global Championship (PGC).

Now at Grid, Schwartz will continue to bring his partnership expertise to the table. His responsibilities will include advancing the platform's business development department and finding new business opportunities with GRID's game developer clients.

“Having already worked with GRID data at 100 Thieves paired with an honest passion for esports, Tim is a perfect match," GRID CEO and founder Moritz Mauer said, referring to Magic. He commented on the addition of Schwartz.

“Together with Julian’s high-level experience with top-tier publishers, platforms and partnerships, we aim to truly unlock the potential of in-game data by creating meaningful connections across the entire ecosystem — from rights holders through media partners to the single fan experience," Mauer said.
