Esports Awards winners 2025 revealed: League of Legends, iShowSpeed, Doran, and more

The Esports Game of the Year went to League of Legends.

The 2025 Esports Awards event has revealed its list of winners. According to a press release, the event returned to the HyperX Arena in Las Vegas on Nov. 19. It featured 24 categories as well, with the final one introducing the first-ever members of the Lifetime Achievement in Esports: Class of 2025 recipients. iShowSpeed's message to his supporters

Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut was named Esports PC Player of the Year, iShowSpeed won Streamer of the Year, and Laure Valée earned Esports Host of the Year.

"It's Speed here, and we have won the Streamer of the Year Award," iShowSpeed said in a pre-recorded message. "I want to give a huge thanks to everybody who voted for me. I want to give a huge thanks to my fans. I want to give a huge thanks to anybody who supports me. And I love you all. And also -- you all know how much I work hard for you all every single year to give you all the best content, the best streams -- so I appreciate you all in joining that content and supporting that content. And I love you all. I'm going to keep working harder, and I appreciate you all. It's Speed Gang for life. And I love you all. I love you all so much."

T1 Doran: "It's a great honor to have created a memorable legendary play in this era."

Doran also became the Esports Play of the Year. Similar to iShowSpeed, the player pre-recorded a message about receiving the award. Sub_bingsu's translated his words on X.

"Hello, this is T1 Doran, and I've been awarded Play of the Year at this year's Esports Awards," Doran said, according to sub_bingsu. "Thanks to the many esports fans who helped me receive this award. It's a great honor to have created a memorable legendary play in this era. I will keep playing my best and [keep] making more legendary plays to repay the fans. Thank you."

Meanwhile, Team Liquid's 25 Year Anniversary Campaign earned the Esports Creative Campaign of the Year. As for Esports Publisher of the Year, that went to none other than Riot Games. Guests from gaming, content creation, and business, including Snax Gaming, LuzGaming, and Xavier Mortimer, attended the event as well.

Esports Awards 2025 celebrates 10 years

The 2025 Esports Awards marked the event's 10-year anniversary. In a statement, Esports Awards CEO Michael Ashford described this milestone as significant for the industry.

"Hosted at the HyperX Arena, the show was a celebration of excellence, bringing together the biggest names in gaming and content creation for a night of recognition and community," Ashford added. "Congratulations to all of this year’s winners, and thank you to everyone who helped make this decade-defining edition so extraordinary."

At the time of publishing this article, the Twitch livestream garnered 722 views in about four hours. The chat replay noted the lack of a live audience. On X, however, the event garnered significantly more interactions on the Esports Awards' posts about the winners. The post dedicated to the livestream reached 1.8 million views plus an X view count of 4.5 million, 112 reposts, and approximately 1,300 likes at the time of publishing this article as well.
