Jujutsu Kaisen just gave us an official release date for its third season, Culling Game. Are you ready for the action?
Jujutsu Kaisen fans rejoice! Season three of the popular show just got an official release date and a brand new trailer. Itadori's fight against the rampant cursed spirits (and Okkotsu) is about to continue, and fans are ecstatic. Here is what we know as of now about Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: Culling Game.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: Culling Game (everything we know)
Excited for Culling Game to release? The third season has been heavily anticipated since the end of season two, which featured the Hidden Inventory arc and the Shibuya arc. Season two ended back in December of 2023, meaning the third season will be premiering just about two years later.
And let me tell you, Jujutsu Kaisen fans are hungry for more content.
So, what is Culling Game about? Well, (spoilers for those who have not watched season two), we do know that Tokyo has been overtaken by cursed spirits, creating a sort of post-apocalyptic atmosphere. However, Itadori, Maki and the others are doing their best to fight off the demons that dwell within the city.
Except Itadori has another battle to face, too.
The Jujutsu Higher-Ups have ordered Itadori to be put to death, as they believe Sukuna is becoming too powerful within him (which is completely valid, to be honest, after what happened in Shibuya). So, we are finally seeing the return of Okkatsu, who was introduced (and then left) in the movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
Okkatsu has been ordered to kill Itadori, giving the characters an interesting arc in season three.
Release date
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: Culling Game is set to premiere on Crunchyroll on January 8, 2026. We are only two months away from seeing some of the most epic battles in anime history take place.

The question many are begging to have answered, though, is whether or not Gojo will make an appearance.
Will you be watching season three of Jujutsu Kaisen when it premieres on Crunchyroll next year?
