Beast Games Season 2 just introduced a major twist involving bribes and previous contestants.

Beast Games Season 2: Strong vs. Smart is off to an exciting start after debuting with three episodes on Prime Video. The first episode even introduced a major twist! Here's everything to know about it.

Beast Games Season 2 gets major twist

After the remaining contestants entered Beast City in the first episode of Beast Games Season 2, MrBeast, also known as James Stephen "Jimmy" Donaldson, revealed a surprise twist. He offered them the chance to take home $100,000 and leave the game entirely.

However, instead of eliminating others, takers of the bribe would eliminate themselves. MrBeast then added that the total number of contestants would remain the same, as anyone who accepted the offer would be replaced by a new competitor.

"To receive this $100,000 bribe, you don't have to eliminate your friend. All you have to do is eliminate yourself!" MrBeast said. "Imagine -- going home with nothing when you could go home with $100,000 in cash and a life-changing amount of money. If you don't think you have what it takes to win that $5 million over there, this might be your only chance to walk away with guaranteed money."

The twist didn't just end there, however. The guards in the area with the bribes then took off their masks, revealing them as the potential replacements.

"For those of you who choose to stay and compete, there won't be any less contestants after this because every person that takes the bribe will be replaced with a new competitor," MrBeast said.

One of these competitors included Season 1 champion Jeff Allen himself!
