Beast Games Season 2 Episode 3 recap
Episode 3 of Beast Games Season 2 picked up where the second episode left off. It was quite a nail-biter, but this episode began with the yellow team winning the block game. This resulted in 50 contestants left. These 50 then formed 10 teams of five and competed in five rounds on an obstacle course.
The first round was a team race. Each team sent one player at a time through the obstacle course. The first team that got all five players across the course moved on. Then came the one-versus-one (1v1) round. Contestants raced head-to-head across the obstacle course, and the first one who finished each race earned a point for their team. The first team that reached three points advanced in the competition.

As for the third round, each team selected a captain for a single 1v1. The losing captain and their team were eliminated. MrBeast also gave the players the opportunity to switch teams, but none of them chose to do so. Round four was another team race like in the first round, but $300,000 was placed on the obstacle course.
"All you have to do is walk over here and grab it, but that will cost you precious time," MrBeast said. "So decide carefully if you're going to take the money or not. And to be clear, it does not eliminate your team. It delays your start by a little bit."
As for the fifth round, only one player from each team was allowed on the obstacle course at a time. As soon as a player touched either the bottom platform or the water, the next member of their team began their turn.

Then came the "Captain Bribe" game, which involved a life-changing twist. After the remaining five teams locked in their captains, MrBeast revealed that Joseph Torres (JT), Hannah Riggs, Jeff Allen, Nicky Mariano (Nick), and Tyler Davis each had the chance to press a button to instantly win a large sum of money for themselves. If a captain took the bribe, only their teammates would be eliminated.
"Who you choose as your captain could literally be the most important decision you ever make," MrBeast said. "Each of these captains now has the power to single-handedly eliminate 20% of the remaining players while winning a life-changing amount of money."
Each captain faced a difficult choice. JT and Nick wanted to improve life for their respective families, Hannah hoped to retire her father, Tyler wanted to take care of his wife, and Jeff aimed to further fund a cure for his son's rare genetic brain disorder.
"I want you all to know I did not read you this to discourage you," MrBeast said. "I read you guys this to remind you that these are real people. They're not just players in this game. And if they do decide to take the money, they all have their own reasons. And it's probably not screwing you over."
Beast Games Season 2 Episode 3 then ended on a cliffhanger when someone pressed the button.
