Beast Games Season 2 Episode 2 recap and results: “Balls.”

The second episode of Beast Games Season 2 released on Jan. 7 on Prime Video. MrBeast, also known as James Stephen "Jimmy" Donaldson, also revealed that the streaming platform offered fans a 30-day free trial in celebration of the season.

Episode 2 of Beast Games Season 2 picked up where the first episode left off. The contestants were offered the chance to take home $100,000 and leave the game entirely or stay and continue competing for a whopping $5 million. Ten players who accepted the bribe eliminated themselves, but their spots were filled by returning players from Season 1.

The first contestant to replace a Beast Games Season 2 player was Dino Viana or Deano, who turned down $1 million back in Beast Games Season 1. Next came Gage Gallagher, also known as "Mr. Coin Flip" in the previous season.

The other returning players included Courtney Ferris, Akira Andrews, JC Gallego Lori, Karim Arafa, Jeremy T. Grant, and Mia Speight. To spice things up even further, Season 1 runner-up Twana Barnett and Season 1 winner Jeff Allen also returned to the fray.

This episode featured four games in total. The first one had 18 players competing in an intense dodgeball challenge. Teams were constantly shifted by a moving red line on the floor, and anyone hit by a ball or caught by the floor's red line was eliminated. Players had to throw their dodgeballs within a 10-second window as well. Only nine players made it through.

Next came the balance game. In this one, 22 Beast Games Season 2 participants took turns placing a single rock on a scale and then pulling out a pin. If the rocks outweighed the heart on the scale, it would collapse and shatter the heart. The game continued back and forth until all of the hearts broke. In the end, only 11 players advanced further.

"Two different strategies started to emerge," MrBeast said, observing the contestants. "For the strong players, they chose rocks based on their weight. But for the only two smart players, their strategy depends on where they place the rock."

Then, it was time for a bluffing game. Each of the 20 contestants had a color placed on the back of their heads and had one minute to step into the circle that matched that color. As the game progressed, they had to strategize and mislead others while staying safe. Only 10 players successfully bluffed their way through to the third episode.

The final game was all about blocks. A total of 40 contestants were split into two teams, each led by a captain chosen from the strongest and smartest players. Suspended 50 feet in the air were two flags, and teams had to stack blocks to build a tower tall and sturdy enough to secure their flag. Only one player at a time collected blocks. This game ended on a cliffhanger and continued in the next episode.

Episode 3 is already available on Prime Video. This is because the season kicked off with three episodes.
