As the post-TI shuffle continues to flow, Virtus.pro has quickly moved to make their mark on the Dota 2 scene with a huge roster announcement.
Virtus.pro has come out swinging into the post-TI roster shuffle period with a massive new lineup. With The International 2025 now behind us, teams and players have begun to move around. The shuffle could see the formation of new teams with some big names, or new faces coming in to join already well-established teams.
One of the first major teams we have seen created is a new roster for Virtus.pro.
Virtus.pro expands their roster
Over the years in Dota 2, VP has been a prominent contender. Although recently they have struggled to make an impact, they have now added an entire new team to their organization. As we head into the post-TI shuffle, Virtus.pro announced their new roster, featuring some well-known Dota 2 players from multiple regions.
This newly formed Virtus.pro roster is set to compete on the global level. This moves their previous roster to VP.CIS, to compete in the Eastern Europe category, while VP.Prodigy remains as the academy roster for the development of new players.
Sam “Bulba” Sosale, the team’s newly appointed coach, had the following to say on the roster:
"Given the short window between TI14 and the first qualifiers, we moved quickly to secure three core players in Timado, Abed, and Tal. With the post-TI14 transfer market still very fluid and many players weighing their options, we want to remain flexible rather than rush into permanent decisions. We’re excited to see how Daxak and Antares can contribute during this period, as Virtus.pro already has a strong base of talent, and this trial approach gives everyone the chance to grow together step by step.”
The full new Virtus.pro Dota 2 international roster is as follows:
- Enzo “Timado” Gianoli
- Abed “Abed” Yusop
- Nikita “Daxak” Kuzmin
- Vladislav “Antares” Kertman
- Tal “Fly” Aizik
- Sam “BuLba” Sosale (coach)
On paper, this roster is extremely strong, with a few massive names having come aboard. Whether or not they will be able to make the same impact as VP did previously remains to be seen. However, Virtus.pro’s newly formed roster will be in action in the DreamLeague Season 27: Western Europe Closed Qualifier in only a few days. This will be their first foray as a team into the world of Dota 2, and we will be able to see just what they have in store.
