Following their second-place finish at PGL Wallachia Season 3, Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov takes a break from competitive Dota 2.

Tundra Esports have had a fantastic start to 2025. Much of this can be attested to Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov joining the squad at the end of 2024. Starting with victories at both FISSURE PLAYGROUND #1 and BLAST Slam II, the team followed up with second-place finishes at both DreamLeague Season 25 and PGL Wallachia Season 3. Unfortunately, following their most recent tournament, dryachyo announced that he would be taking a break from competitive Dota 2.

Tundra Esports moves forward without dryachyo

In the video post made via the Tundra X account, dyrachyo speaks on his break.

I just want to stop playing professionally, for now at least. Because I’m not enjoying it. And it is probably the main reason why I do not want to play professionally. It’s too many tournaments, the schedule is tough, and if I’m not having fun then why should I play? I am not saying that it is my last tournament – it is the last tournament for now. But maybe I will come back when I think that I’m ready to play.”

The player goes on to speak about what he will do in his time now, including continuing to play Dota 2, streaming, and traveling. He also comments on his time with Tundra and how he enjoyed his time with the player, coach, and staff.

dyrachyo's accomplishments

During his professional Dota 2 career, dyrachyo has had some huge accomplishments. While he missed out on winning The International 2023 with Gaimin Gladiators, their second-place finish was amazing. However, he has achieved multiple victories at tournaments.

  • Lima Major 2023
  • DreamLeague Season 19
  • DreamLeague Season 20
  • ESL One Berlin Major 2023
  • Bali Major 2023
  • Riyadh Masters 2023
  • Riyadh Masters 2024

While all these victories came with Gaimin Gladiators, 2025 proved to be positive for the Carry role player too. He leaves behind a strong legacy, and hopefully will soon return to take on a new challenge in Dota 2.

Replacing a legend

Although no official announcement has been made just yet, most people are sure who dyrachyo’s replacement will be. Tundra has already hinted towards the announcement coming soon.

While it is not confirmed officially, most sources point to Remco “Crystallis” Arets taking the spot. Having gone inactive for PARIVISION earlier in 2025, the player seems as the most likely candidate. However, more information on this will be revealed in the next few days, as both teams gear up for FISSURE Universe Episode 4.
