Both players are from Yellow Submarine as Team Spirit ventures into young talent once more.

Team Spirit have announced their Dota 2 roster for the upcoming season. The organization has added two new players, both from Yellow Submarine. Joining the team are Alexander ‘Rue’ Filin and Alan ‘Satanic’ Gallyamov.

Team Spirit add two new Dota 2 players

Team Spirit have made some changes to their roster following below expectation results at TI13. The team finished 9-12th at The International 2024 losing 1-2 to Extreme Gaming in the lower bracket. They also had a similar finish at Riyadh Masters 2024 where they finished 9-12th.

During this transfer window, we considered various options of filling the roster. Ultimately, we have decided to add young players, whose qualities we know well. Working with young talent is part of our club’s philosophy and a strength of our management. We will have to reestablish ourselves in the world of Dota 2, but this does not deter us. On the contrary, it adds a new challenge, something we were lacking in the last season. Follow Team Spirit for a guaranteed whirlwind of new emotions.

Shortly after their TI performance, the org announced two of its players would go inactive. On September 18, 2024, Team Spirit revealed Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk and Myroslav "Mira" Kolpakov will no longer be a part of the team’s active roster. Their exit paved the way for two new players, and Team Spirit decided to take the plunge on youngsters with the two Yellow Submarine signings.
