Post-TI shuffle fever is in full swing, with another big team making changes, as Jonáš “SabeRLight-” Volek is benched from Team Liquid.

Team Liquid's run at The International 2025 did not go according to plan, which has led them to bench Jonáš "SabeRLight-" Volek. With the post-TI shuffle well underway, we have already seen multiple players moving around. With new teams emerging from well-established organisations and players switching between teams, a lot is going on in the Dota 2 world.

Team Liquid, champions of The International 2024, were hoping for a chance to defend their title in 2025. However, with the new Swiss Style Group Stage, the team never even made it to the main stage. With their early exit, we expected some changes to be seen from the team. As soon as the post-TI shuffle hit, the team decided to part ways with their offlane player.

According to a post made on X, SaberLight would be moved to inactive. For now, it seems as though Liquid has not chosen to reveal their replacement for position 3. However, with multiple tournaments on the cards for the remainder of 2025, we are sure to soon find out their full roster.

The remaining Team Liquid roster is:

  • Michael "miCKe" Vu
  • Michał "Nisha" Jankowski
  • Samuel "Boxi" Svahn
  • Aydin "Insania" Sarkohi

Having joined the roster after their TI 2025 victory, SaberLight will not play a part in their next chapter. With wins at both BPGL Wallachia Season 3 and 4, as well as a win at FISSURE Universe: Episode 5 with Liquid, the Czech player will now look to take his talents elsewhere.

Linked to this, SaberLight announced that he would be taking his talents to another roster. With the DreamLeague Season 27 qualifiers about to kick off across multiple regions, the player has joined AVULUS on loan.

It is unlikely that SaberLight will rejoin Liquid at a later stage, but for now, he remains a part of the organisation. However, this is likely to change if AVULUS were to start performing well.
