But you might have to wait a bit for more announcements.
After failing to qualify for TI10, Navi will see some changes to its Dota 2 roster. Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosian, Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev and the coach Andrii “Mag” Chipenko are leaving the team, the organization announced.
“Due to the shift in TI10 dates, we have plenty of time until the start of the next season. We are considering various options for the future of NAVI in the discipline while forming a new roster.
Our paths with Mag, RodjER and RAMZES666 diverge from now on. We are grateful to the guys for their performance in NAVI and wish them the best of luck in their future teams.”
NaVi fail to qualify for TI10 in a disappointing season
NaVi had a decent start to the DPC season. The team finished second in the ESL One CIS Online Season 1: Upper Division and qualified to the ONE Esports Singapore Major group stage. However, the team pulled out of the event due to concerns about COVID. It was a tough decision, but safety and players’ health comes first.
After the ONE esports Singapore Major, NaVi could not qualify for the WePlay Animajor. The team continued its poor form through the TI10 qualifiers, where the team placed 5-6th losing to Team Empire and HellRaisers.
With two players parting ways with the team, it will be interesting to see how Na’Vi builds its new roster. Valve had to postpone TI10 to October and the event will now take place in Bucharest. With some of the best Dota 2 players in attendance at TI10, Dota 2 fans can expect news of the NaVi Dota 2 roster after TI10.
