How to Play Jeopardy
There are traditionally three contestants and one host. The main Jeopardy board presents 25 cards, each valued by points, that are divided into five categories.
Each card presents a clue in the form of a statement and the contestants have to figure out what the clue is describing. To answer the clue, contestants must say it in the form of a question. For example:
Question: An Intelligence hero that can form up to 10 spells.
Answer: “Who is Invoker?”

What are the 5 categories?
Our Dota 2-themed Jeopardy game has five categories:
- Itemology: Guess the Dota 2 item based on the emojis.
- Spirited Away: Guess the voice lines from heroes with “Spirit” in their names.
- Cooking Ingredients: Break down the complete recipe to build a specific item.
- Lore and Order: Guess the hero based on its lore.
- His Story: Guess a piece of Dota 2’s history.
The host will be in charge of the Jeopardy board - selecting cards and revealing answers, as well as updating the scores. If you are playing with friends online, the host will need to livestream the Jeopardy board to the contestants.
To update the scores, the host needs to manually add or subtract them for each contestant. The + and - button by default adds or subtracts 100 points.
The round begins with a random contestant choosing a card and a clue will pop up.
Example:
To reveal the answer, the host needs to press Spacebar.
Whoever answers the question first, gets the points and can choose the next card. After all the cards are played, the player with the most points wins the game.
Good luck and have fun!
