PGL has its Dota 2 esports calendar panned out for 2027.
PGL has been announcing events left and right, and this time, they’ve revealed four new Dota 2 events for 2027. The events will span the entire calendar year, giving Dota 2 fans plenty to watch and cheer for in the esports world.

Four PGL Dota 2 events in 2027
The four Dota 2 events will have a total of $4 million in prize money and will take place throughout 2027. With still two more years to go before the start of these events, it is interesting that PGL decided to announce them so soon.
For the tournament organizer, it allows them to secure the best teams’ attendance early. With each tournament boasting $1 million in prize money, Dota 2 teams will be eager to participate and showcase their best skills to their fans.
Here are the four events along with the dates and prize pool:
- PGL Dota 2 Event 1: March 2 to March 14, 2027
- PGL Dota 2 Event 2: May 11 to May 23, 2027
- PGL Dota 2 Event 3: October 19 to October 31, 2027
- PGL Dota 2 Event 4: November 16 to November 28, 2027
PGl has some history in hosting Dota 2 events, including the likes of Kyiv Major, and Arlington Major 2022. Last year, PGL hosted the PGL Wallachia Season 1 and will be hosting the subsequent seasons for this event in 2025.
There are not many other details announced including the locations of these events. Esports.gg will update you with the latest news as and when it becomes available.
Meanwhile, Dota 2 fans can look forward to PGL Wallachia Season 3, which kicks off in early March. The tournament has several regional qualifiers that will determine the final list of teams. Dota 2 fans can catch all the action live on Twitch.
