OG Esports unveils full Dota 2 roster for 2025-2026 season

OG Esports unveils its new Dota 2 roster for the 2025-2026 Season. Three players return along with new faces Lelis and Stojkov.

OG Esports is back in business with a full five-man Dota 2 roster for the 2025-2026 season, led by TI winning Johan "n0tail" Sundstein as the Head Coach once more.

The OG Dota 2 roster revamp arrives within a week of OG Esports' acquisition, which promised a "new competitive cycle" according to double TI winner and co-owner Sébastien “Ceb” Debs.

OG new roster for 2025-2026 Dota 2 Season

Prior to the roster announcement on Sept. 23, the OG Esports Dota 2 roster consisted of just two players; Tamir "daze" Tokpanov and Mihajlo "MikSa" Jovanovic.

Joining them is carry player Shad, who returns to OG after a loan stint during the final stretch of his NAVI contract ahead of TI14.

Seasoned Brazilian support player Rodrigo "Lelis" Santos is a major fresh signing for this season as the new position 5. Lelis brings a significant amount of LAN experience having played at four separate TIs, and looks like OG's strongest addition on paper.

Since leaving Nouns at the end of 2024, Lelis has been a support for hire for several teams, including OG over the last couple of months. The 28-year old clearly impressed and joins as the team's oldest player.

The final player, Igor "Stojkov" Stojkov, joins OG on trial as their new mid. Though the 26-year-old Macedonian is relatively inexperienced compared to last season’s mid, Stormstormer, OG believes in his potential. OG fans may recall the team’s 2018 pickup of Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen, then an unproven rookie who became one of Dota’s all-time greats.

OG Esports - who were the first team to win back-to-back The Internationals - have not qualified for the event since 2022. Both OG and OG.LATAM finished 3rd in their respective TI14 Regional Qualifiers, missing out on a chance to compete in Hamburg, Germany.

With Lelis’ veteran presence and emerging talent Stojkov, OG is betting on a new era of growth for its Dota 2 division. The coming Dota 2 season will reveal whether Ceb’s promised “competitive cycle” has truly arrived.
