Nigma Galaxy is one of the most prominent teams in the Online Stage of BetBoom Dacha - fielding TI-winning veterans and talented young blood. But their opponents are pretty stacked with names from Division I and II of Europe. This includes teams like Alliance, Virtus.pro, and Level UP.

Despite being a notable team, there were doubts about their performance coming into BetBoom Dacha. The team hasn't been very stable this season and their performance is average in their region. NGX were relegated to Division II in Tour 2 and scraped their way through to make it back into Division I in second place.

They played in DreamLeague Season 19 but settled at the bottom ranks. The team even attempted to qualify for Riyadh Masters through the MENA qualifier but lost to a newly-formed Team Secret MENA.

With their performance looking grim, one would assume that NGX does make it out of the BetBoom Dacha Online Stage. But Nigma Galaxy proves that it still possesses the Dota 2 fire.

Throughout the tournament, Nigma Galaxy only lost one series against Nemiga Gaming during the Play-in. They then faced a rematch against Nemiga in the Upper Bracket of the Decider round and secured a successful revenge. But that wasn't the only revenge Nigma Galaxy would grab.

NGX vs Level UP - a storied battle

The Grand Final of BetBoom Dacha Decider pairs Nigma Galaxy with Level UP. But this pairing has more story than you might think it has.

Level UP features known CIS players with names like Nikita "Daxak" Kuzmin and Georgii "swedenstrong" Zainalabidov. This team also grabbed first place in Division II of WEU, just a step ahead of Nigma Galaxy. Although both teams end up getting the promotion, Nigma Galaxy's second place might taste sour to the team.

With a stroke of fate, Nigma and Level UP meet again. Both teams clash in the Finals of BetBoom Dacha Online Stage, the decider series that'll see one team qualify for the LAN Stage in Yerevan, Armenia.

In the BO5, Nigma Galaxy started off shaky, almost losing the first game. It was a hard-fought battle but they managed to recuperate and find their balance. From then on, Nigma surfed on the momentum. The second game finished with a 21-10 score and the third ended with a crushing 33 - 6, sealing their series victory.

Nigma looks in form for TI12 Qualifiers

Following Nigma Galaxy's smashing performance, fans are starting to believe. This current NGX looks in form and it's just in time for the highly-anticipated TI12 Regional Qualifiers. KuroKy and the boys haven't stepped foot at TI in two years, but maybe it's about time the decorated veterans make a comeback.

TI12 Regional Qualifiers for Western Europe begins on August 27th. On the other hand, BetBoom Dacha LAN Stage will take place on September 10th - 16th.
