The tradition of post-The International roster shuffle continues, with BetBoom Team deciding to bench Pure and coach boolk.
BetBoom Team has made their mark on the post-The International roster shuffle by benching both Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko and Anatoly "boolk" Ivanov. We have seen some big moves made by many teams during the shuffle period, but this one stands out beyond many others.
It goes to show that not even a fourth place at TI can’t keep away the roster shuffle blues.
Pure and boolk benched by BetBoom Team

With the post-TI shuffle in full swing, many teams and players have found themselves without a roster or a completely new one. For BetBoom Team, they have seen a mixed bag of results in 2025. With a few first-place finishes, such as PGL Wallachia Season 5, the team went into a promising TI 2025. Although missing the podium by one spot, fourth place was a massive ending to the tournament for the team. However, the shuffle has proven that it was not enough, as Pure and boolk leave the active roster.
Announced originally via their Telegram account, BetBoom moved both Pure and boolk to the bench. For the position 1 player, having been with the team for almost 3 years, he now remains teamless. However, from his statement, it would seem as though Pure has a Dota 2 future planned.
Thanks to the organization and all teammates for the experience, and to the fans for their support. A new stage is ahead, let's see what it brings.”
As for coach boolk, his statement mentioned that he would be taking a few months to focus on himself first, before settling back into Dota 2, possibly.
For now, neither BetBoom nor Pure has confirmed their futures. While BetBoom Team does have a development player, Andrei “bottega” Kopytko, in the wings, it is unclear whether he will be Pure’s replacement.
At the same time, BB Team has no tournaments currently lined up, as they await any direct invites. With PGL Wallachia Season 6, BLAST Slam V, and DreamLeague Season 27 all remaining to close out the year, we are highly likely to see BetBoom’s new roster at some point in 2025. However, we will also keep an eye on where Pure lands himself.
