ESL One Kuala Lumpur will host its Open and Closed Qualifiers to seven regions including MENA!
The ongoing ESL One Kuala Lumpur Qualifiers is looking mega spicy. The upcoming $1 million tournament will host twelve teams in the heart of Malaysia this December. While four of them will be invited teams, the rest will be those who make it through the ESL One Kuala Lumpur Qualifiers.
While some are familiar teams with familiar faces, we also see a wave of new rosters joining the fray! Some of them include the new rosters for OG, Nouns, the now-South American BOOM Esports, and many more.
Where to watch
You can watch the live broadcast of ESL One Kuala Lumpur Closed Qualifiers on ESL's Twitch channels. Some Dota 2 streamers also broadcast the qualifier games, the biggest channel being Gorgc.

ESL One Kuala Lumpur qualifier dates
- Open Qualifier #1: Nov 12 - 13
- Open Qualifier #2: Nov 14 - 15
- Closed Qualifier: Nov 16 - 18
The Open Qualifier, which will be open for all teams, will take place from November 12 to 13. The second Open Qualifier will happen in the next few days from November 14 to 15. Note that the MENA region only has one Open Qualifier as it fields fewer participants.
The Closed Qualifier will feature invited teams and Open Qualifiers winners. This event will take place from November 16 to 18. Only one winner will prevail from each region's qualifier.

ESL One Kuala Lumpur Qualifier details
ESL makes a return to Malaysia with yet another epic tier 1 event. It previously hosted the ESL One Malaysia which occurred in the breezy mountains of Genting Highlands in August 2022. But this time around, ESL locates its next tournament in the capital city, Kuala Lumpur.
ESL One Kuala Lumpur will be a compact tournament that spans a week. It begins on December 11 to 17 and will pit the final eight teams in front of a live audience. The final three days of the tournament will be at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).
Only twelve teams will be able to participate in this hefty tournament. Eight of them will come from the qualifiers. There will be qualifiers for seven regions: North America, South America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East and North Africa, China, and Southeast Asia.
