"Rise above fate," ESL calls as it reveals the next big Dota 2 event - the ESL One Kuala Lumpur! This glorious $1 million tournament will be held in the capital city of Malaysia with twelve tier-one teams participating. Only eight teams, however, will survive to play in front of a live audience. More details below!
When is ESL One Kuala Lumpur?
ESL One Kuala Lumpur will run from December 11 to 17. The end-of-the-year tournament spans one week in which teams compete in a LAN environment. The final three days of the tournament - December 15 to 17 will host a live audience.
Where is the ESL One Kuala Lumpur venue?

Unlike the previous ESL One tournaments, the ESL One Kuala Lumpur will not be in a stadium. The venue is MITEC (Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre) in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur - the largest exhibition center in the country.

Tickets will go on sale starting September 21 at 3 PM MYT/9 AM CEST. The costs and perks for the tickets are stated below:

ESL did not disclose the capacity of the venue and how many tickets will be sold. On Wikipedia, it is stated that MITEC is able to host conventions with a 20,000 capacity.

ESL still hasn't confirmed which teams will play in Kuala Lumpur this December. Other details like what is in the Goodie Bags (except for an Event T-Shirt and Event Coin) has also yet to be confirmed. The event also hints at an incoming cosplay event that'll be revealed in full detail soon.
