BLAST Slam VI schedule, venue, and format
BLAST Slam VI features a three-stage format: the group stage, the last-chance playoffs and play-in, and the playoff. The group stage consists of best-of-one round-robin matches, with the top 3-8 teams advancing to the play-in stage. The top 2 teams will automatically take the two spots for the playoffs’ semifinal rounds.
Teams finishing in ninth through 12th place will compete in the last-chance playoff for a spot in the play-in round. Only two of these four lower-ranked teams will advance.
During the play-in, each of the eight qualified teams must win a best-of-three series against a designated opponent, determined by the group stage standings.
Unlike most Tier 1 Dota 2 tournaments, BLAST Slam VI features a single-elimination playoff bracket, leaving teams with no second chances.
The four teams that advance from the play-in will compete in the quarterfinals, with the winners moving on to face the top two teams from the group stage in the semifinals. In the finals, the last two remaining teams will clash for a chance to claim the tournament championship. All playoff matches are best-of-five.
The group stage, last-chance playoffs, and play-in for BLAST Slam VI will take place online from February 3 to February 8, 2026. The playoffs are scheduled from February 13 to February 15, 2026, at BLAST Arena Studios in Malta.
