BLAST is returning to the Dota 2 scene in 2025
BLAST today revealed their next Counter-Strike event will take place in Singapore. The BLAST Premier World Finals will be held in Singapore in October. However, there’s some good news for Dota 2 fans as well. The BLAST Dota Slam will also take place in Singapore next year although more details will be revealed soon.

BLAST Dota Slam in Singapore
BLAST is not a new name in Dota 2, although for Dota 2 fans, they don;t hear the tournament organizer’s name enough. BLAST last hosted a Dota 2 event in 2020 during COVID. The BLAST Bounty Hunt brought a unique format to the esports scene and gained lots of praise for its approach. However, after that event, BLAST has not interacted with the Dota 2 esports scene.

Team Spirit won the BLAST Bounty Hunt in 2020, although the Dota 2 esports scene has seen some dramatic changes in the four years since. There’s not been much more information about the BLAST Dota 2 event in 2025. However, we can expect BLAST to bring some innovation either in terms of broadcast or in format for its Dota 2 event next year.
The BLAST World Finals, the final event of the BLAST Premier Counter-Strike circuit will take place in late October this year. The tournament will bring together the best teams in the game together for a chance at winning a massive prize pool. The BLAST Preimer Circuit had two seasons, the Spring Season as well as the Fall Season. The Fall Showdown is currently ongoing with the final opportunity for teams to qualify for the Fall Finals. The best teams from the Fall Finals will eventually make their way through to the BLAST Premier World Finals.
