Aurora Gaming has decided to withdraw from PGL Wallachia Season 6. Xtreme Gaming jumps into the upcoming tournament.

PGL Wallachia Season 6 is fast approaching, but with just under three weeks until kickoff, Aurora Gaming has withdrawn from the event. With a busy schedule to close out 2025, Dota 2 teams are experiencing some fatigue. With The International’s shuffle period still going strong, teams are still finding their way. While Aurora’s exit is big, they are replaced by TI 2025 runners-up, Xtreme Gaming.

Aurora Gaming skips PGL Wallachia Season 6

With some big roster changes coming out from Aurora, including Damien Chok “kpii” Sau-jing coming in as a new coach, the team has had a great start to their season. Participating in both FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 and BLAST Slam IV, they have shown strength early. However, with the rush of tournaments to close out the year, they have made a decision. As PGL Wallachia Season 6 approaches, Aurora confirmed that they would be withdrawing from the event.

Although no reasoning behind the withdrawal was given, with so many events, they have their plates full. But with the announcement of their departure came the confirmation of the replacement.

Having not played since TI 2025, where they saw another heartbreaking grand finals, Xtreme Gaming joins in the mix. This will be their first showing with their new roster, which brings Yap “xNova” Jian Wei and Wang “Ame” Chunyu side-by-side once again. The team could make a massive statement about their intentions early in the new season. With Team Tidebound and Roar Gaming also on the cards, Chinese Dota 2 fans will be watching closely.

While Aurora still fights in two tournaments, they will be focused on winning at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 and BLAST Slam IV. However, the year still has them bookmarked for DreamLeague Season 27. It is unlikely that the team will withdraw from that event, too, but we will have to wait and see.
