Season 3, also known as Season of the Construct, kicks off on Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. PST. Diablo 4 Season 3 boasts a new questline alongside vaults as new dungeons, quality-of-life updates, the Diablo 4 Season 3 Battle Pass, and more.

Diablo 4 vaults explained
In Diablo 4 Season 3, the vaults are specialized dungeons involving elemental monsters known as the Constructs. You can access the vaults by locating the Gatehall in Kehjistan. You can get started on the new Season of the Construct questline by visiting the Gatehall as well.
When you enter the vault, you can be blessed by Zoltun’s Warding. You lose stacks of Zoltun’s Warding if you fall prey to the hazards scattered about the dungeon. If you keep Zoltun’s Warding intact after overcoming the vault boss, then you'll get a Wardwoven Chest. This item has a higher chance of granting you legendary loot.
Seneschal companion in Diablo 4
As for the Seneschal companion, you can obtain it during the aforementioned seasonal questline. You can use Governing and Tuning Stones gathered from the vaults to augment and customize your Seneschal companion as well.
Tuning Stones can be gained by completing vaults and opening Wardwoven Chests. Meanwhile, you can get Governing Stones by crafting Shattered Stones into them. Defeat Constructs within the vaults to collect Shattered Stones.
Diablo 4 leaderboard
Next, The Gauntlet is set to arrive later on in Diablo 4 Season 3. According to Blizzard, it's a fixed dungeon that rotates on a weekly basis. It also lets you compete for the top spot in the game's leaderboards. The top weekly score can get a permanent spotlight in the Hall of the Ancients.
Diablo 4 Season 3 Battle Pass and more
As for the Season of the Construct Battle Pass and Season Journey, they feature 90 reward tiers in total plus chapters of tasks to complete. The Diablo 4 Season 3 Battle Pass, in particular, has a total of 28 free tiers and 62 premium tiers.
