The clutch factor is coming to North America in 2022.
Team Liquid has officially announced that former Team Vitality star Richard “shox” Pavilion will be joining their CS:GO team in 2022.
The move is no surprise to the community after it was reported that the 29-year old CS:GO veteran was linked to joining Team Liquid after the team’s poor performances in 2021.
As for Shox, it was a mixed year for the French talent with Vitality. While he was able to find decent success, such as a victory at IEM Winter and a quarterfinal finish at the PGL Stockholm Major, his HLTV Rating was at its lowest ever at 1.01.
A mixed year in 2021, Team Liquid is hoping to rekindle some of the firepower and consistent clutch factor that he has been known for throughout his career.
In Shox’s place, Vitality has been linked towards rumors that they would acquire the Astralis trio of Emil “Magisk” Reif, Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, and coach Danny “zonic” Sørensen at the end of 2021.
