Former Virtus.Pro player, PashaBiceps will compete against Anomaly’s CSGO lineup. Here’s how to register and more details about the event.

The gaming-focussed web browser, Opera GX has partnered with two of the biggest CS:GO streamers for the ‘That’s my Streamer’ tournament. Former Virtus.Pro player, Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski and Ludwig “Anomaly” Lagerstedt will be a part of this event that also features fan participation. 

What is the ‘That’s my Streamer’ tournament?

Anomaly and PashaBiceps are two extremely popular names in Counter-strike Global Offensive. PashaBicpes rose to fame for his time on Virtus.pro’s Golden Five. Anomaly has been one of the biggest content creators for Valve’s FPS game. 

The two captains will form CS:GO teams from their Twitch subscribers. Opera GX says it will fund the coaching and training of these teams. Players in either team will also receive Steelseries gear and cash prizes after the face-off.

Both streamers will assemble their lineup ahead of the face-off. The ‘That’s my streamer’ tournament will feature a $10,000 cash prize. The winning team receives $8,000 while the remaining $2,000 goes to the other roster.

Opera GX has also announced the two experts who will help coach and train the players. Former CS:GO player, analyst and most recently, Team ENCE”s coach will be one of the coaches for this event.  The other team train with Juha “aNGeldusT” Kurppa, a retired professional player and partner at Team ENCE. 

How to apply for the ‘That’s My Streamer’ tournament?

The application deadline is April 18, 2021, after which the selected gamers will enter the trial phase. After the trials, teams start to train for the final face-off with pro coaching. This final between the two teams will take place in early May 2022. CSGO players can register for participation here. Candidates applying to be a part of the team have to upload a five-minute clip of them playing CS: GO and explaining why they want to join the team.

Opera GX is a special version of the Opera browser that specifically complements gaming. Opera GX allows players to set limits on how much RAM, CPU and network the browser uses. This helps to ensure maximum power for games and hence, an enhanced performance. With Twitch and Discord integration, there is a lot of thought that has gone into the design of this browser.
