$10,000 is on the line. And a special $500 for the first player to get a knife kill.
FaZe Clan will play against a team of Legends in a CS2 showmatch on July 8, 2023. The showmatch will feature some of the biggest names in Counter-Strike history in action who will be competing for $10,000 in prize winnings.
Steelseries is presenting a CS2 showmatch between FaZe Clan and the team called Legends. Rightfully named Legends, the team will comprise former superstar Counter-Strike Global Offensive players. Starting off the roster list is Filip "NEO" Kubski and Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski, formerly of Virtus.Pro. Joining them on this roster is Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács. GuardiaN will be facing off against his former team in FaZe clan. GuardiaN played for FaZe Clan for nearly two years from 2017 to 2019.
Rounding out the roster are Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt and Jimmy "allen" Allen. While CS:GO players will be extremely familiar with NBK, allen is a former 1.6 SK Gaming player. The now-retired player last competed in 2010 when he was a part of SK Gaming.
The showmatch takes place on July 8 at 6pm CEST on the Steelseries Twitch channel.

FaZe and Legends will play a best-of-one warmup match before the start of the actual match. The warmup will see them use only Deagles, grenades and their knives, making for some truly exciting plays. There’s also a monetary reward to getting the first knife kill in the actual match of $500.
The actual match will be a best-of-five series on CS2 maps only. As only a few maps have been ported to CS2, Counter-Strike fans can expect a few maps to be played more than once.
All the matches will be streamed live on Steelseries Twitch channel.
