The not-so-cryptic tweets unveil EG’s 2022 CS: GO roster. It features three members of the Boston Major winning Cloud9 lineup.

Evil Geniuses is in the process of rebuilding its CS: GO roster. While there is no official announcement just yet, the CEO has revealed the lineup on Twitter. EG has all but confirmed recent reports of RUSH joining the North American team.

The orgnaization parted ways with Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz, Owen “oBo” Schlatter and Michał “MICHU” Müller soon after the PGL Stockholm Major.

“In all seriousness, we are here to save NA CS. Get hyped to learn about the team and why they joined starting next week"

Nicole LaPointe Jameson

EG finished in the 15-16th place at the PGL Stockholm Major, exiting the CS: GO Major without winning a single match. The past few weeks have seen reports of EG targeting several players, including the likes of Valde, Stewie2k and others.

Evil Geniuses CEO, Nicole LaPointe Jameson has all but officially announced the org’s CS: GO roster. The Twitter thread starts off promising with a “Regarding @EvilGeniuses CS:GO (a thread)...” before landing player names in each subsequent subtweet.

While Stewie2k didn’t get a full sentence, for CS: GO fans it was a relief to see the roster come together. Over the past few weeks, Evil Geniuses has been reported to be targetting Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså. However, the deal reportedly fell through and EG turned their attention to RUSH, as per reports by 1pv.fr and RushBMedia.

What is Evil Genisues’ 2022 CS: GO roster?

Although yet to be officially announced, EG’s roster will be as follows:

  • William "RUSH" Wierzba.
  • Timothy "autimatic" Ta.
  • Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov.
  • Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte.
  • Jacky "Stewie2K" Yip.

EG announced French coach, Damien “maLeK” Marcel, as the team’s coach around Christmas last year. The former G2 coach helped his previous team reach 2nd place at the PGL Stockholm Major. He will be instrumental in determining the direction of the new EG roster.

RUSH was released by Complexity Gaming after being inactive for a few months. Autimatic had joined T1 Valorant, but recently announced his departure from the team. It seems he might be making his return to CS: GO and will be joining Evil Geniuses soon.

Evil Geniuses will announce its CS: GO roster next week.
