Vitality moved Spinx to the inactive roster after nearly two and a half years on the active squad.
Vitality have moved Lotan "Spinx" Giladi to an inactive position on the roster. The announcement marks the end of more than two years on the active roster for the player.

Spinx first joined Vitality in August 2022 from ENCE and has been an integral part of the organization’s CS2 roster since then. The 24-year-old player was previously on ENCE and had helped that team climb to a top-four placement in the Major. Spinx’s first big event with the Vitality jersey, ESL Pro League resulted in the organization winning a closely contested Grand Final 3-2 over Team Liquid.
Vitality had several top-tier finishes in 2023, including a victory at the BLAST.tv Paris Major. Other notable event wins include the IEM Rio 2023, Gamers 8 2023, BLAST Premier Fall Finals, as well as the World Final in December of 2023. The team also secured a top-four placement at IEM Cologne 2023 and a second-place finish at the Spring Final.
Last year was a mix of results for Team Vitality. While they always ensured a top-tier placement, they were unable to consistently win big events. This lack of consistency was one of the big reasons for the recent roster shake-ups.
"I also want to protect Spinx because players explore their options in CS all of the time. I will say that there was never any will to make changes after we decided that we were staying put."
Last year, émy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam confirmed to HLTV that Spinx had asked the organization permission to explore options. However, he continued on the team and has only now been moved to the inactive bench.

Several reports point to Robin “ropz” Kool potentially joining Vitality, which would make the CS2 roster quite a formidable squad for 2025. Vitality are set to attend the BLAST Bounty Spring Qualifiers that kicks off on January 14, 2025. The qualifiers will send the top eight teams to the LAN finals in Copenhagen later this month.
