The Skyesports Championship is one of the premier esports Counter-Strike events in South Asia. Featuring some well-known International teams, the tournament takes place in Mumbai, India. Here’s all you need to know about the event including team rosters, format, and broadcast links.

Which teams are part of the Skyesports Championship 2024?

Eight teams are a part of the Skyesports Championship. The Eight teams include invites, teams from qualifiers as well as a team that comes from the Indian qualifier.

What is the tournament format?

The tournament has two stages - the Group stage and the playoffs. The group stage kicks off with eight teams and the Playoffs feature the final four teams from the original eight. Here’s a quick rundown of the event format and what to expect. 

Group Stage

  • Two groups of four teams each
  • The teams play in a double-elimination format
  • All matches are best of three series
  • The top two teams from each group advance to the Playoffs

Playoffs

  • Sing-eliemination format
  • Semifinals are bo3
  • The Grand Final is a best-of-five series.

Final Results and Prize Pool distribution

The total prize pool of the tournament is $200,000. The prize pool will be distributed amongst the teams with the winner getting the majority of the prize money. Here’s the distribution of the prize pool and the final results.
