CS Legend f0rest returns to NIP as a Brand Ambassador.

Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) has announced the return of Counter-Strike (CS) icon Patrik ‘f0rest’ Lindberg as a brand ambassador. The move marks a celebrated comeback for one of the most iconic players in NIP’s history. After competing with NIP from 2012 to 2020, f0rest returns nearly half a decade later to support the organization’s competitive and creative initiatives.

f0rest's new role at NIP: Co-Streaming and Community Engagement

As NIP’s brand ambassador, f0rest will actively engage with the Counter-Strike community. He will co-stream NIP’s matches, including the team’s upcoming attempts to qualify for the Shanghai Major at the RMRs. Beyond game day, f0rest will regularly stream matches on Twitch via FACEIT. The streams will allow fans to play alongside him and join special events.

A full website takeover on the official NIP page also highlights f0rest’s return. Fans can easily access his live streams and join the celebrations. To honor his legacy, NIP plans to release a limited merchandise line. The merch line will feature a commemorative jersey, a digital collectible, and more items celebrating his influence on the organization. Ninjas in Pyjamas’ Dojo, a members-only fan reward platform, will also feature many challenges that will reward dedicated fans with the chance to win physical merchandise and virtual cosmetics.

“It’s a pleasure to welcome back one of the most well-known faces associated with our iconic esports organization. Patrik did great things with us as an esports player and we look forward to making him at home again as a Brand Ambassador. Patrik’s strong following and ties to Ninjas in Pyjamas made working with him again a no-brainer, and we can’t wait to see how our new partnership unfolds”

Reflecting on a Legendary Career

f0rest’s return to NIP coincides with his formal retirement from professional play, capping off an illustrious career that began in 2003. During his time with NIP, f0rest achieved several feats. The rifler lifted a Major at ESL Cologne in 2014 and was a member of the 87-0 squad that dominated the early months of CS:GO. Throughout his career, f0rest featured on the HLTV top 20 list four times. His highest ranking came in 2013 when he was ranked number two.

“Becoming a Brand Ambassador at Ninjas in Pyjamas truly feels like a homecoming moment. I’m excited to be back where it all started, and I can’t wait to talk to even more Ninjas in Pyjamas fans, both old and new.”
