G2 vs NAVI (Anubis, Inferno and Nuke))
The series began in Anubis, followed by Inferno, chosen by G2. The map chosen to decide the series was Nuke.
Anubis
The first map in the series was Anubis, chosen by the Ukrainian team NAVI. The team captained by Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen started well on their map of choice with five points on the CT side. However, an unimaginable 1v5 from prodigy Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov put an end to NAVI's run of rounds, scoring the first for the G2 in the result.
The two teams came close in the result, taking everything to overtime. If on G2's side we had m0NESY in great shape, on the NAVI side the Ukrainian duo of Valeriy "b1t" Vakhovskiy and Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov also didn't disappoint.
G2 even managed to close the opponent's choice map in their favour by 16-13.
Inferno
In Inferno the story was different. NAVI managed to win the map 13-11 but the balance pf the result remained the same.
G2 still opened up a 7-5 lead in the first half, however, NAVI scored eight points on the T side to close out the map.
One of the highlights was the young Ukrainian b1t's clutch at a decisive moment in the match.
