Spinx won’t link up with MOUZ until after the Polish tournament.

Hours after the sudden benching of in-game leader (IGL) Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek, MOUZ has secured the services of CS2 major champion and star rifler Lotan "Spinx" Giladi as his replacement.

Despite his addition today, however, we won't see him in action until after MOUZ's next S-tier event at IEM Katowice due to roster locks — forcing the squad to turn to an academy replacement in the interim.

Spinx in as Brollan takes MOUZ captaincy for Katowice

MOUZ announced the addition of Spinx on Jan. 23, less than a day after saying farewell to siuhy out of nowhere. Spinx has spent the start of 2025 on Vitality's bench after he stepped down from the squad before BLAST Bounty.

The Israeli rifler's resume is packed with S-tier wins at Vitality including the BLAST Paris Major, 2023's BLAST Fall and World Finals, and IEM Rio. More recently, Spinx was a major part of Vitality's win at IEM Cologne — an event he wasn't supposed to play with the squad as he had already requested a release.

"Today I'm starting a new chapter in MOUZ," Spinx stated on X. "[I'm] very excited to join the boys and [am] looking forward to playing with them."

Spinx peaked at number five in HLTV's top 20 in 2023 and has made the coveted list for the past three wins. He is yet to play an official in 2025, but upon joining MOUZ, he's expected to slot into Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin's positions as he shifts to the IGL role.

Spinx's debut in the MOUZ colors won't come for a few weeks, unfortunately. Valve's roster locks see MOUZ forced to call up 16-year-old Hungarian player Adrian "xelex" Vincze for IEM Katowice which kicks off Jan. 29.

The same goes for siuhy. Suitors for the young but experienced Polish IGL won't be able to utilize him for Katowice, which means the first we'd see of both players in their new jerseys would likely be PGL Cluj-Napoca in mid-February.
