MOUZ’s BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 victory comes after a similarly impressive win at ESL Pro League Season 19. The team has been in an impressive feat recently, with a second-place finish at IEM Chengdu 2024 followed by the EPL 19 victory.
- Vertigo [13-11]
- Ancient [13-9]
- Mirage [13-4]
The series started on Vertigo, which was a MOUZ pick. Despite being one of MOUZ’s favorite maps, the map was a relatively close affair with a strong T side by Team Spirit. Unfortunately, for Team Spirit fans, it wasn’t enough as MOUZ managed a narrow 13-11 victory on the map. With 23 kills to his name, donk was clearly one of the best players on the team. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough as MOUZ had a more even spread of frags throughout their lineup which resulted in more rounds for the team.
The second map, Ancient was a very dominant CT side by MOUZ with 9 rounds to their name. Team Spirit’s three rounds were simply not enough for them to mount a comeback. But try they did as they still managed to get six rounds on their T side. Unfortunately, with only four rounds required for MOUZ to get the victory, it was only a matter of time before MOUZ secured the victory.
The third Team Spirit managed just three rounds on their CT-side. While there was still an outside chance of potentially managing a comeback, they failed to get a single T-side round in the second half. A 13-4 victory for MOUZ and a 3-0 series win for the team.
MOUZ will now head to IEM Dallas 2024 which also features a total of $250,000 prize pool. There will be a total of 16 teams at the event and the winner will receive an invitation to IEM Cologne 2024. The tournament kicks off on May 27 and will come to an end on June 2, 2024.
