FaZe miss out on ESL Pro League Seaosn 21

Interesting is the absence of FaZe Clan from the list of teams in attendance for ESL Pro League Season 21. FaZe reportedly skipped this event. This year there are several CS tournaments packed throughout the calendar year. With StarLadder and PGL hosting several tournaments, teams might have to make choices of which events they want to attend.

FaZe Clan recently added EliGE to its CS roster soon after parting ways with Ropz. Ropz had been with the team for several years and was instrumental in FaZe Clan's consistency over the past few years.

ESL Pro League moved its location from Malta to Sweden and there is also a small format change for the event. FaZe’s absence came to the benefit of GamerLegion who are now a part of this event. ESL Pro League Season 21 follows PGL Cluj-Napoca. PGL’s first event of 2025 will come to an end on February 23 and ESL Pro League Season 21 kicks off just a few days later.

Following the Pro League, BLAST Open kicks off on March 19, 2025, just three days after the conclusion of ESL Pro League Season 21.

ESL Pro League Season 21 kicks off on March 1. The tournament will continue for 16 days ending on the sixteenth of the same month. With 24 teams in the competition, this event promises to bring the best of Counter-strike to Stockholm. ESL Pro League Season 21 has a $400,000 prize pool and will broadcast the matches live on Twitch
