ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) and well-known Counter-Strike player Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev have announced a partnership with the Play Like s1mple Project! This is an educational video series that helps Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) players improve their game.
EFG and s1mple announce Play Like s1mple Project
The Play Like s1mple Project boasts more than 60 interactive sessions. It also focuses on in-game skill development and strategy alongside topics about the esports industry itself and career advancement. According to the official announcement, the Play Like s1mple Project is made for both casual players and aspiring professionals.
Fabio Floris, the president of digital platforms at EFG, shared his thoughts about the partnership. He noted that s1mple's lasting success in the professional esports scene and legacy with FACEIT uniquely positioned him to enhance EFG's global community in terms of competition play.
“Viewers will not only pick up the intricacies of top-tier CS, but also insights on what it takes to break into the industry in other ways, including as caster, talent manager, and more," Floris added.
Meanwhile, s1mple expressed excitement about the launch of the Play Like s1mple Project. "Whether you're a casual player looking to improve your skills, better understand the game, and achieve a champion mindset or a great pro aiming to take your game to the next level, this program has something for everyone. I wish someone could have shared these skills with me when I just started my journey in CS," he said.
