CS2 CCT Global Finals schedule, format, and teams

The Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Champions of Champions Tour (CCT) Global Finals 2024 event will soon kick off with a $500,000 USD prize pool on the line! Read on for the updated CS2 CCT Global Finals schedule, format, and the top 16 teams that will duke it out for the crown. We also go over where fans and supporters can watch all of the esports action.

The Group Stage and Quarterfinals will feature four matches per day with the first match beginning at 2:30 a.m. PDT and the last patch starting at 11:30 a.m. PDT. Meanwhile the Semifinal 1 and Semifinal 2 will kick off on May 22 at 3:30 a.m. PDT and 6:30 a.m. respectively. As for the CCT Global Final, it will happen on May 23 starting at 6:30 a.m. PDT.

"The tournament was originally scheduled to extend to May 24, but was ultimately adjusted to respect the request of competing teams to allow travel for other previously agreed to tournament appearances," according to the official announcement.

In terms of the CCT Global Finals format, it will showcase the top 16 teams. There will be four teams split into four groups playing under the single-elimination format in the Group Stage. Only eight teams will advance to the Quarterfinals and play best-of-three (Bo3) matches. The CS2 CCT Grand Finals, however, will be a best-of-five (Bo5) match.
