This Counter-Strike 2 esports event comes with some pretty unusual rules for opponent selection and prize money distribution. Beyond that, we have just a great tournament with some of the best teams in the world!
There is no fixed prize money for Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) teams at BLAST Bounty Fall 2025. Each of them comes with a specific bounty tied to their heads. For example, defeat Vitality and get a bigger reward than for defeating Astralis. All bounties together make up the general prize pool of $480,000.
Another unusual feature of this tournament is the brackets seeding. Teams from the lower half of the list can select their opponents from the high-ranked participants.
All these unique rules become significantly simpler in the actual matches of CS2 BLAST Bounty Fall 2025. It’s about delivering kills, defusing or planting bombs, and accumulating sweet Ws in the final score.

To advance to the final brackets, eight teams played through the closed quarterfinals. That part finished with some surprises: Astralis eliminated NAVI, and Virtus.pro defeated FaZe.
At the main tournament of BLAST Bounty Fall 2025, we have single-elimination brackets. Most matches are best-of-three. The grand final is under the best-of-five format.

Pre-tournament favorites
The Team Vitality players come to this event after a disappointing loss at IEM Cologne 2025. Not only did they miss the grand final, but Vitality also had their win streak broken. The motivation to be back on top is very strong, and the Austin Major winners certainly can do this.
- Team Spirit won IEM Cologne 2025, and they are here for more! The second half of 2025 is pretty promising for the Shanghai Major 2024 winners.
- MOUZ defeated Vitality in the previous event, but they couldn’t win the tournament. They are up to breaking this curse as well!
- The MongolZ looked incredible at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. After the downfall in Cologne, we want to see their current strength.
The next big event is coming a week after BLAST Bounty Fall 2025. The CS2 Esports World Cup 2025 is from Aug. 20 to Aug. 24.
