With over 12.80M hours watched, Fall Finals 2024 was a roaring success.

The BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2024 saw the best Counter-Striek teams compete in Copenhagen. G2 esports emerged as the victors, but there were awe-inspiring moments and plays throughout the event. Counter-Strike fans saw Snax lift a trophy on a LAN stage after many years, bringing back memories from when the player used to dominate the Counter-Strike scene. The tournament was the first event with many new rosters and peaked at around 900k viewers during the Grand Finals.

Viewership Peaked during the G2 vs NAVI match

There was immense interest in the Fall Finals with the Group stage witnessing high watch times. The viewership peaked as we moved towards the end of the event with the best teams going head to head against each other. The Grand Finals saw G2 esports take on NAVI, in an epic battle that saw two behemoths of Counter-Strike take face each other. Ultimately, G2 esports emerged victorious with a 3-1 score over NAVI.

Despite Snax claiming the team is still relatively young and the few months they’ve been together as ‘not enough’, G2 esports were still the best team at the event. The team had previously faced against NAVI in the group stage, a match that resulted in a 0-2 loss for G2 esports. However, as the team progressed through the playoffs, with victories over Team Vitality and Team Spirit, they seemed to have found their groove. The momentum was a big contributing factor and helped them move ahead of NAVI in the Grand Finals with their only map loss being on Mirage (11-13).

I would say, maybe we are playing three months together. I don't know exactly, I don't remember when we started, but let's say two and a half months. So even here, we've had three weeks of practice maximum I think from this period.

G2 esports was the most mentioned team in the Twitch chat as many fans were rooting for the squad to lift the trophy. The Fall Finals was one of the most popular Fall Finals that BLAST has ever produced.

The Fall Finals was a $425,000 tournament with eight teams in attendance. The event's winner - G2 esports - now receives a direct invitation to the BLAST Premier World Finals. The World Finals marks the culmination of the BLAST Premier season 2024-25 and takes place later this month in Singapore.
