The final part of this Counter-Strike 2 tournament comes with surprises. Team Spirit couldn’t make it to the playoffs. FaZe Clan look strong, as they eliminated NAVI in the closed qualifier. Can Vitality revive their tournament win tradition?

We are pretty deep in this competitive season, and Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports delivers as usual! Moreover, the tournaments are now somewhat more unpredictable than they were in the first half of 2025.

The biggest drama so far was the soft downfall of Vitality — sure, with a real chance to be back on top at CS2 BLAST Open Fall 2025. Then, we could witness the power spike from Spirit, but they stumbled badly at the recent two events.

BLAST Open Fall 2025 is rather short in its phase of the final playoffs. It still is exciting! The community can witness the battle of long-term top rivals and the attempt of relative underdogs to take the trophy.

Pre-tournament overview

The biggest favorites are in one bracket. MOUZ have more favorable odds on the CS2 betting platforms for their match versus M80. If they win, another Vitality vs MOUZ battle occurs. MOUZ broke their negative record in this matchup, but Vitality are always extremely hard opponents.

G2 and FaZe have been experiencing ups and downs recently. G2 lost two key players, so the org is attempting to make it back on top with a refreshed roster. FaZe even tried to experiment with Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev to solve their discoordination in crucial moments.

FURIA finished on top of their group in the BLAST Open Fall 2025 closed qualifier. They have difficult opponents: Spirit and MOUZ. FURIA won both these matches, 2:0.

Some big CS2 teams were absent from the closed qualifier of BLAST Open Fall 2025. Falcons, Aurora, and The MongolZ should lose some points in the CS2 VRS Rankings.

These teams are present at FISSURE Playground #2, from Sept. 12 to Sept. 21. It’s not the most representative tournament, though, as Vitality, MOUZ, and NAVI skip it.

The next huge Counter-Strike 2 pro gathering is ESL Pro League Season 22, from Sept. 27 to Oct. 12. All celebrities are playing at this event!
