BetBoom returns for its second Belgrade event of the year

BetBoom Dacha returns with yet another event in Belgrade in August 2024. The BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 #2 has twelve teams competing for a substantial prize pool in Belgrade, Serbia. Here’s all you need to know about the event including the format, prize pool distribution as well as participating teams.

What is the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 #2 format?

The BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 #2 uses a simple double-elimination format. While there are twelve teams in participation, four teams are High Seeds. This means they will first compete directly in the Playoffs.

The remaining eight teams will play in two double-elimination groups. Each group has four teams and all matches are best of three series. The top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs.

In the Playoffs, the four qualified teams move ahead to join the High Seed teams. With six teams in the playoffs, this segment also uses a double-elimination format. All matches excluding the Grand Finals are best of three series. The Grand Finals is a bo5 series that will determine the team that takes home the majority of the $500,000 prize pool.

Prize Pool Distribution and Final Results

The tournament has a $500,000 prize pool and the majority of participating teams get some prize money in compensation. With twelve teams in attendance, the top eight teams get something to boast about. The majority of the prize pool goes to the winner - in fact, the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 #2 receives 50% of the prize pool.

The runner-up gets $125,000 while the third and fourth placed teams get $50,000 and $25,000 respectively. Here’s a complete breakdown of the prize pool and its distribution.
