K-Pop Demon Hunters is the next major collaboration happening in Cookie Run Kingdom along with a new original idol group named BiTES.

Cookie Run: Kingdom recently announced its next major brand collaboration featuring K-Pop Demon Hunters. This will be the game’s 6th major collaboration, where new themed cookies get released. According to the DevNow 2026 stream, the collaboration will be part of the game’s Chapter 2 update, expanding the story after the events of the Dark Enchantress arc. On top of that, the game will introduce a new original K-Pop group similar to the BAD4. This time, it’s an all-female idol group.

That said, let’s go over the Cookie Run Kingdom x K-Pop Demon Hunters collaboration.

The DevNow 2026 livestream on March 16 revealed a lot of exciting new content, including the K-Pop Demon Hunters collaboration for Cookie Run Kingdom. We can expect to see the main trio, Rumi, Zoey, and Mira, in their cookie form. The art also showed the Saja Boys in the background. However, there is no confirmation if the boys will also be unlockable in the game. Additionally, details about whether these collaboration units will simply guest cookies or actually be playable in the game are yet to be revealed.

For context, guest cookies are non-playable and will only appear in your in-game kingdom. A good example of this is the Disney collaboration, where the princesses can only roam around your kingdom and do not have unique abilities, making them unusable in any in-game content.

That said, playable collaboration characters rarely become viable in the meta. All collaboration characters seem to be mere collectibles instead of a good investment to clear in-game content. The collaboration units that remain viable to some degree are the BTS cookies. This is because they are support healers that don’t die in battle as long as there are ally cookies still standing. The rest, even the most recent Wicked collaboration cookies, are barely useful in any type of content.

Reddit discussions regarding the collaboration are mixed. Some fans are skeptical, stating that it might be as bad as the previous collaboration.

One redditor wrote: “I’m not excited cause if the wicked crossover is anything to go by, it’s gonna be slop meant to make as much money as possible cause ‘look popular thing’ the wicked update was one of the worst updates imo, so I don’t have high hopes unfortunately.”

Despite this, a lot of fans are happy with the collaboration . If the cookies are not that great in combat, they should serve as valuable collections. This is because they are less likely to be unlockable once the event is over. Here’s to hoping the Cookie Run Kingdom x K-Pop Demon Hunters cookies will be good enough to be useful in the game.

Back in 2022, Devsisters announced BAD4, an original K-pop group featuring T.N.T. (Schwarzwälder), ZZ Skull (Licorice Cookie), MUSHY P. (Poison Mushroom Cookie), and HellHound (Red Velvet Cookie). They debut during the BTS collaboration , where they hijacked the stage and sang their only anthem single, “Bad and Dark.”

With the upcoming K-Pop Demon Hunters collaboration, Cookie Run Kingdom is also getting a new idol group, BiTES. According to the DevNow 2026 stream, the new idol group will feature Okchun Cookie, Caramel Choux Cookie, Mozzarella Cookie, Caramel Arrow Cookie, and Sugarfly Cookie.

For now, only their promotional art is revealed. According to DevSisters, the group will debut in the upcoming Grand Berry Music Festa story. We can also expect existing cookie singers to make an appearance. If the collaboration follows a similar structure to the BTS crossover, characters like BiTES could also make an appearance in the upcoming K-Pop Demon Hunters event. Potentially, they may be part of the event’s story or featured in limited-time mini-games.
