It’s about time, Microsoft.

Ever since Microsoft bought Activision Blizzard in October 2023, Call of Duty players from all over the world have been wondering when all the games of the franchise will arrive to Xbox Game Pass.

While there's plenty of speculation regarding this matter, continue reading to find out everything official between Call of Duty and Game Pass.

While it remains unclear when Microsoft will actually add the entire Call of Duty collection to Game Pass, there's at least some good news for fans this year. Microsoft and Activision already informed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is coming to the catalog on day one, so this will mark a step forward.

Microsoft revealed during the special Call of Duty showcase during the Xbox Games showcase on June 9 that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is coming out on October 2025, 2024. Therefore, it will be readily available for Game Pass subscribers.

If nothing happens until then, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 should be the first Call of Duty game ever to join the Game Pass catalog.

Understandably so, fans have started to get anxious in 2024 especially as it's taking seemingly too long for Microsoft to add Activision games to Game Pass. The Xbox owner was much faster when it came to Bethesda games, for example, as some Bethesda games were added to the Game Pass catalog mere weeks after the acquisition was completed.

Hopefully, the addition of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 to Xbox's subscription service will mark the influx of other Activision games to the catalog, but we'll know more near the end of the year.

That's all for now. Stay tuned to esports.gg for more Call of Duty content.
