Season 5 Reloaded comes to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. It brings a new map variant, new game modes, weapons, events, and more. The patch notes for this CoD update were revealed by the official social account. We highlight the new content and also list adjustments and bug fixes.

CoD update: Season 5 Reloaded

The original release of Season 5 in CoD Modern Warfare happened on July 24. To remind yourself of what it brought to the games, take a look at the image below.

Now, the developers unleashed Season 5 Reloaded — the Call of Duty update today adds new content, balance adjustments, and bug fixes.

MW3 update — New content

In this section, we highlight all the new content brought to the game with the Call of Duty MW3 update today.

A new map variant

The map Ink House gets its Stash House Variant for 6v6 matches.

New weapons

Two new weapons have been added to the game

  • Torque 35, a bow for large victims;  get it via Week 5 Challenges.
  • Spear, for-long-reaching melee-attack; included to the Battle Pass.

New modes

With this CoD update, we get four new game modes in Modern Warfare III.

  • Fishfection — players are Survivors and Infected fish; the goal is to infect everyone else or survive.
  • Paintball — 1 shot kills; the movement has a sliding effect.
  • Defend or Destroy — two teams should destroy or defend an objective; there is no respawn in this mode.
  • Cyber Attack — to plant the EMP device or to retrieve it.

New events

Two events happen throughout Season 5 reload in MF3.

  • Wildlife Most Wanted: from August 21 to August 28
  • Emotional Overdrive: from September 12 to September 18

New Aftermarket Parts 

Get these new parts for interesting weapon improvements.

  • JAK Deathmarch — short-ranged laser blasts for BAL-27 Assault Rifle. It’s available via Week 6 Challenges.
  • JAK Devastators — it increases the destructive power of Reclaimer 18 Shotgun but decreases its accuracy and recoil control.

The game gets one new mode.

  • Supreme Resurgence — the weapon loadouts have been prepared, so the players should focus on their battling skills.
