Infinity Ward have made several bug fixes and quality-of-life changes.
A new update has rolled out for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The size of the update is around 1GB on both consoles and PC. The latest patch notes for MW2 have fixed issues and bugs that have occurred during the Season 3 rollout in the game.
Infinity Ward revealed the new updates in their latest blog post. The patch notes won't move mountains and shouldn't change the way that the majority of things feel in-game.
Most of the updates are quality-of-life changes to make the Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2 and DMZ experience more streamlined and less buggy including better views of more "valuable" rewards in the Season 3 battle pass.
Infinity Ward have also added a one-minute grace period at the start of DMZ matches where players cannot use the UAV killstreak.

Global updates
Stability
- Updates to fix known crashing bugs.
Adjustments
- Improved usability of controller stick rotation when previewing weapons. This prevents the weapon from sliding back and forth across the screen.
- When inspecting a sector from the Battle Pass, the selection will now take you to the most valuable reward of the sector.
Global Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue that could sometimes cause the Killcam not to trigger properly.
- Fix for an issue causing users to be kicked back to the Main Menu after a second attempt to enter the Battle Pass.
- Fix for an issue where despite having Dismemberment and Gore Effects turned off, enemies still exploded while using the "Singularity" Blueprint.
- Fixed an issue where CDL weapon stickers would not show on weapons in-game or in Gunsmith.
- Fixed an issue where you can trigger the search in the invite Players popup when you shouldn't.
- Fix for an issue in the Events tab where the price of a Reward appeared in red even though you had enough Trophies to redeem it.
- Fixed an issue where some Rewards in the level progression screen didn't have descriptions.
- Fixed an issue where the Player could be kicked to the Main Menu after scrolling through the most recent players section of the Social screen.
- Fix for an issue where Players wouldn't see rain on Pelayo's Lighthouse after infilling on Kortac Team.
- Fixed an issue where the base TAQ-56 would display when previewing non-Blueprint Rewards for Ranked Play.

- Fixed an issue where the "Enforcer" Raid reward was not properly equipping in DMZ.
- Fixed an issue where the "Double Cross" Mission in DMZ would incorrectly require a specific Dead Drop location
- Fix for an issue where Players using a controller were unable to pick up an enemy's backpack after eliminating them.
- Fixed an issue that could duplicate weapons after dropping and stowing inventory interactions in DMZ.
