Former LA Thieves players Huke and Slasher highlight the Guerillas roster for Vanguard.

The Los Angeles Guerrillas have officially announced their new roster ahead of the Call of Duty: Vanguard season. Their roster, which is currently pending league approval, features a star-studded lineup that is sure to make the Guerrillas into a genuine contender next season.

A Turning Point For LA Guerrillas

Whenever a new roster gets announced there will always be people expecting results; and that certainly reigns true for this new Guerrillas team. LAG have been more or less the bottom-feeders of the league over the past two seasons; having finished in the bottom four both times. In that time the Guerrillas organization have also come under fire from the CoD community for how they have managed their roster. Now though, it feels like this team is finally beginning to look like a proper contender; at least on paper that is.

This roster is, from an outside perspective, a statement of intent from the LA Guerrillas. One that shows they are ready to, at long last, make their mark in this franchised league. And that is certainly the case with the acquisition of Gunless and Slasher; two veterans who saw a lot of success together the last time CoD Esports graced the battlefields of World War 2. Add to that a pair of talented SMG players in Asim and Huke, and what we get is a team that has the potential to cause all sorts of problems for their opponents. As well as a group of players with a chip or two on their shoulders from last season.

Though we are still a long way out from the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard, LA Guerrillas fans will surely be looking forward to seeing their new roster in action nevertheless. We'll just have to wait and see what the other rosters' look like before we can determine how strong the Guerrillas prospects look for the season ahead.
