Call of Duty has confirmed that Fortune’s Keep, a ranked Resurgence mode, and much more are coming with Warzone and MW3 Season 2.

Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 Season 2 arrives on February 7. The second season of Warzone and MW3 brings back the fan-favorite Fortune's Keep map, along with the addition of Resurgence in its own Ranked Play mode.

You'll also find plenty of other updates, such as new Zombies content, and Operators from The Walking Dead. That's right, Rick Grimes and Michonne are on their way. Take them into Forturne's Keep or ranked Resurgence if you'd rather fight the living.

Fortune's Keep first arrived in Warzone Season 4, as part of Call of Duty: Vanguard. The map was specifically designed for the Resurgence mode, and has yet to be added to the COD: MW3 version of the battle royale.

Well, it's back and is said to be rather refreshing per Call of Duty. The small island makes for action-packed matches, and with updated points of interest, players will have to adjust their strategy to stay alive and be the last team standing.

Ranked Resurgence arrives with Warzone Season 2

Next on the list of incoming Warzone Season 2 content is a ranked Resurgence mode. Resurgence is a mode with respawns enabled, through a timer. It takes place on either Rebirth Island or Fortune's Keep, where everyone begins with a Self-Revive Kit.

Players can down enemies to speed up the timer of their eliminated teammates, who can respawn freely once the timer hits zero. Of course, the ability to redeploy is taken away after reaching the deeper portions of a match.

Wiping out enemy teams completely is the only way to ensure their elimination. And with Resurgence receiving a ranked playlist, expect it to get sweaty. Everyone loves a ranked mode, and this one should have the same requirements and divisions as the typical ranked Warzone.

Zombies Hordepoint and The Walking Dead in Call of Duty

This isn't Warzone Season 2 specific, but more tied to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 as a whole. When Season 2 arrives, there's plenty of extra content to enjoy. Three new 6v6 maps, Stash House, Vista, and Departures, are confirmed, as well as Rick and Michonne from The Walking Dead as Operators.

A new COD Zombies mode called Hordepoint is also on its way. Its name indicates it is a Hardpoint variant, jampacked with zombies. Get ready to experience that, Fortune's Keep, ranked Resurgence, and much more when MW3 and Warzone Season 2 drops on February 7.
