Everything you need to know about the MW3 reveal event

The Call of Duty Modern Warfare III reveal event has officially gone live! The limited-time mode will give CoD fans a sneak peak on what is coming up in MW3, the newest addition to the franchise.

As stated earlier, the MW3 reveal event takes the form of an LTM within Call of Duty: Warzone 2. The playlist, named "Shadow Siege," went live at 10:30 a.m. PST/ 1:30 p.m. EST. The LTM thrusts players into the middle of a large scale operation taking place within the Zaya Observatory POI on the Al-Mazarah map. Below you will find a quick guide on how to complete the mode.

Once you join the game you and your squad will be tasked with activating a series of missile sites located around the observatory. You are free to choose whichever one you wish. Once all eight sites have been activated you will then be tasked with entering a large bunker underneath the observatory. There are three entrances to choose from so take your pick.

Once inside the bunker players will need to help extract Gas Canisters and deliver them to an exfil helicopter waiting by the entrances. Per the in-game challenges for this event we recommend you get at least five canisters.

Once a total of 45 canisters have been collected throughout the lobby the game will enter it's end phase. Which will require all players to exit the bunker and climb aboard the exfil helicopters. As soon as the extraction countdown hits zero it will trigger the one last cutscene. Which promptly lead into the Modern Warfare 3 reveal trailer.

If you were not able to get into a lobby when the MW3 reveal event went live, don't worry about it! The playlist will remain active till 10:30 am PST/ 1:30 pm EST, August 21. Giving you plenty of time to experience event in all of its' glory.
