You can now easily share loadouts with other players in Black Ops 7.
Treyarch and Activision revealed a fountain of information at the Gamescom Opening Night Live reveal for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. We got to see Campaign gameplay, details about multiplayer and Zombies, and what kind of content we can expect at launch on Nov. 14. However, one of the more surprising announcements we saw was that Black Ops 7 is introducing a way to seamlessly share individual loadouts.
Over the past six years, loadouts have become a staple of the Call of Duty franchise. You go into the loadouts menu, select a weapon, and then equip around five attachments on the weapon. Those attachments can come from several attachment slots, most of which are comprised of dozens of options that all alter the gun's performance in one way or another.
Well, if you want to copy another player's loadout, you no longer have to ask them for their attachments one by one. Instead, Black Ops 7 is making it so all you have to do is ask for a loadout code. You can read more about how this is going to work in the guide below.

Black Ops 7 will feature a loadout sharing system

According to Treyarch, the way this will work is by utilizing something called the "Build Code" system. Essentially, every loadout you create will be assigned a code, which is visible right in the Gunsmith screen. You can then choose to send that code to a friend or other player, and they will be able to enter the code on their Gunsmith screen. This results in the player equipping the same weapon and attachments that you originally equipped.
It's unclear if these Build Codes will be available for any player to see during a match or if you need to give out codes by manually sending them. We also don't know how the codes are sent, i.e., will they be sent through the game's chat box feature or some other way?
One major caveat with this new system is that a player needs to have access to the same weapon and attachments that the Build Code is using. So, for example, if a player with a fully leveled-up Peacekeeper MK1 creates a loadout and sends their Build Code to a player who just unlocked the Peacekeeper in multiplayer, they won't be able to use any of the attachments from the code. Of course, that player can always write the code down and then input it whenever they unlock all of the necessary attachments.

To sum it all up, the Build Code system is a much faster way to share loadouts between players in Black Ops 7. Gone are the days of calling out every attachment on your loadout to a friend over Discord or party chat. Now, you can simply send a code over and start using a meta loadout instantly.
